Naz Irem Turkmen was born in Istanbul at 14 July 2006. She started her violin education with Aslı Erdal at Istanbul State Conservatuary when she was 7 years old. Naz Irem Turkmen continues her violin studies at Istanbul State Conservatuary with Prof. Ceyda Uzgören. She studies privately with Muhammedjan Turdiev and Prof. Sonja Korkeala.

Naz İrem Türkmen, is being supported by the sponsorship of TÜPRAŞ in the Project initiated and mentored by Güher & Süher Pekinel named “Young Musicians on World Stages”. She has attended the master classes of Yossif Radionov, Mincho Minchev, Dania Kainova, Seda Subaşı, Kirill Troussev and Annelie Gahl.
